My heart is full. My head is clear.
And yet, I panic when you aren't here.
I love the feel of your touch each day.
I'm thankful that you take my fear away.
You're the sun in my morning sky.
You're the light to my dark.
You're my wings when I fly.
And you have the key to my heart.
You're in my soul and I'm on your mind.
When you think about it, we're really two of a kind.
You've given me all these special gifts,
So I hope my love is enough.
Because I don't know how to say thank you
For being there when things get tough.
I've given you my heart. I've given you my soul.
I've given you my mind and love forever more.
Are you the moon or are you the stars?
For when I look upon the sky, you don't seem so far.
You've changed my world around, make it new.
You've given me many things, but I'll only take a few.
Are you my love, are you my "one"?
I'll never really know.
I hope I get to find out
Before it's my time to go...
But in my mind, three words ring with truth.
These words that ring are, "I love you".<i>

I wrote this poem just to see what I could do with couples in general. It was easier than I thought with some of my friends being with another person, and they seemed to be happy and all. So, happy reading. =^.^=
